My creative space!

One thing leads to another, and I start one thing , and lo and behold another thing pops up begging for reorganisation and I move this to that and that to the other, and finally my whole studio space will be moving to a new, bigger room without a pink carpet!!!! You must understand how much this means to me! Real , beautiful floors that can be wiped clean at a moment's notice...But first I must paint...a lovely, warm, creamy white to compliment the warmth of the floor and to reflect as much light as possible since this room is in the basement!
Now, I have frequently mentioned I have no clue when it comes to plants. So I am asking for some advise. What do you think I should do with this lovely plant that keeps growing...

Look at it, its just gorgeous but should I cut it? I repoted it just a couple of months ago and it probably needs a new home once again. On the label it had it said it likes shade but it has been on a singleminded quest for the sun... Any ideas would be welcome...
Did you visit Kootoyoo to enjoy the amazing creative spaces that meet there on Thursdays?

Oh Yay for a new space! I personally think your plant needs to be staked ... I think my mum has one of those. I could be mistaken though. Good luck with the painting.

Congratulations!! A beautiful new space in which to create and no worrying about spills on the carpet! So very cool :) That plant looks pretty happy where it is. If you give it a bigger pot it will grow bigger into it. I don't like pruning lush things... can you support the new growth somehow with a stick or something?

That is a very lovely plant! Sadly, my experience with indoor plants leads to only dead things, so I'm not sure how to tame it!

Lucky you. Space is hard to find! Enjoy it. No clue with plants, I killed a cactus!

HA! Your plant has given me a little chuckle! Beats me though - I'll be reading through the other comments with interest to hear the solution. Good luck!

Lovely space Annamaria. I love great floors.
As for the plant, I'd tie the stalk to a cane to give it some support. Then it can grow tall and proud :-)

Can you try making a cutting from it? Looks like there's enough overhang to make a few cuttings!

Congrats on your new space... yay for you!!

Congratulations on the upcoming new space. New paint to go with amazing floors...perfect. Unfortunately I have no plant advice because my husband is the green thumb in our family and I'm pretty much banned from anything leafy. :)

your space is lloking spiffy. love cream walls and floorboards. if i am not mistaken i think that your plant would thicken up from the base with a trim, but it does look pretty good as is. i am a bit of a fiend with secataurs. 'snip it', is my motto
