Day 116- Lunch with R.

I am painting much more often from my own photos. I find it much more challenging, and interesting than setting up still lives in the studio. Actually, I really like the distortions of color, light and perspective in photos. I have such a strong tendency to paint everything too literally that
the obvious distortions make me rethink the image more creatively.
