Day 140- Now as before
7 x 11 inches , watercolor, acrylic inks, and oil pastel
on watercolor paper
Right. This is not sketchbook material but it is an image I want to work with many times. I am not so worried about 'unfinished' work now. I really can't see anything as finished anymore , there are always so many, endless possible ways to pursue with one image/ concept/ mood/. Overall though, I still feel compelled to work with the figure/ and relationships. What has frustrated me for the longest time is that when I see something I also remember and the memories get somehow tied up/ attached to the immediate perception and expand it. It is that aspect of seeing that I want to pursue, and understand what it means for the way we see and experience our relationships with others. Phew.

That's wonderful, Annamaria - how exciting! I agree with you - nothing ever feels finished when we make it ourselves ;) Kx
Thank you for your enthusiasm Kylie.xo
Love this one and what you say here.
Thank you Kerstin. It is something that I have been very interested in over the last couple of years but wasn't sure how I could 'paint' with it in mind.;-)
Really like this one and the risks some of these pieces are taking!
Thank you Aubrey;-)
