I have been listening to this video-interview with Farrell Brickhouse over and over while
working. I am not even exactly sure why I am that fascinated by the interview. I certainly share his
interest in the history of art, and I do strongly feel that one can only do really exciting
work within the context of some sort of conversation with the past. I wish I could see his work in person, it seems to me a lot of the interest there is in the texture of things on the canvas, it's so alive and earthy, and in some way points to history as well.
