a cloudless sky

360 degrees of sky with not a single cloud!!! I promise you this is a rarity in Vancouver. I can't work in my studio because I have a skylight and the glare is painful- its fine, what I really need is a big-big table and my paints- the kitchen table is good- I have been browsing through this book called 'Domino-The book of decorating- a room-by-room to creating a home that makes you happy'- I don't think we will be doing any redecorating soon but it doesn't harm to do make some mental wish lists! the funny thing is I always end up loving the children's rooms more that any adult bedroom. And why not I ask you?

So on this brilliant day, where the tmperature is not hot and not cold but something to rejoice in, and after all the appropriate preparations (see above) we suddenly remembered all the errands we had to absolutely do downtown...Ok, it was short but sweet, and no we did resist the icecream place eventhough I took a picture!

The prince of ice cream...

Patterns and flags....

Have you seen a pet weasel before?

What would you do on a cloudless day?

I've known a few people who had ferrets as pets. They're cute, but kinda stinky.

I love your book and plates of colour! Just gorgeous. Now, I'm really not trying to brag here, but you know, Brisbane is the land of the cloudless sky... I rejoice when I see clouds! :) Hope you enjoyed your beautiful day. K x

Yes, well I was thinking more of a hamster for us at this point- I mean for Lucy- I would loooove to have a dog or cat or both but we have too much on our plates already lately.Definitely not a ferret!Especially now you all say they are stinky!!

I love sunny Vancouver days! I wish I could ride my bike by the ocean there and go pick up a quick iced latte at Think Coffee on West 10th on the way, maybe look for sea glass and people watch. Great post! xo
