Girl in striped shirt-

Girl in striped shirt- acrylic on masonite board- 5 x 7 inches

I tried really hard not to resolve everything in my sketchbook. It allowed me to be more excited about working on the final painting.

I really admire that you include people in your paintings so often. I included people occasionally when I worked in oil many years ago, but haven't been so brave in watercolour.

Lke Kathleen I also admire the people in your panting. And the fact that yu paint peopl in such small dimensions.
For me a good painting ( and a good book or film or play ) is one that mkeeps me interested for a long time after I see it.

I still think of the boy swimming and I already wonder what this girl is thinking of...

Annamaria, this is the 3rd time I've looked at this painting because each previous look made me gush with all sorts of adoring words and I thought I sounded a bit like a "crazy fan club" member!

So......your painting is beautiful.

Have a good weekend.
