Day 62- Unapologetically so-
watercolor 7,5 x 11 inches
And you would be right in asking about that 'change of direction'. Where is it?
I am not sure. I suppose I have to let things unfold. Everyday I am moved by a certain
relationship of shapes, and I know I have to sit down and clean the watercolor palette to start fresh. I can't always paint from memory
because what I see sometimes is more interesting. At other times what I see as a memory is more
exciting, and I have to paint that. Which means, it is not 'what' one paints but how colors and shapes are put on the paper. And of course in the end, I am just going to follow my compulsion won't I?(unapologetically so) (so tired of always apologizing)(how fun is that?) (not apologizing)(I could seriously get into that)
Hugs-

Καλή Ανάσταση και Καλό Πάσχα! Φιλιάxxx
Reminds me of how we just have to be with the process that's asserting itself at the time Annamaria...
sometimes it feels as if another lives inside of us the way the ideas are dictated...
Is great to see shifts taking place!
Just catching up on your latest paintings...I love the way the light changes between this one and the former post and the two skunks are equally beautiful too! Make no apologies!
Thank you Demie. I hope you had a lovely Easter too;-)
Thank you Sophie. We got to follow our own process, yes, strange as that might be!XX
