Day 68- Procrastinating with parentheses
watercolor 7,5 x 11 inches
This week I have to breeze through these posts, and daily watercolors, in order to finish the commissioned portraits I have been working on. Which kind of sucks, because I just lifted my eyes from my keyboard, and a deep grey cloud has filled a third of my window, and everything looks gloomy and brooding, and there is a pale, pink rhododendron in full bloom in our garden waiting to be painted. (and I am really stuck with my portrait right now, which I really should start all over again, which in turn means I have to throw out an expensive wooden panel, and that definitely sucks)(but I should really get on with things one way or another instead of writing things in parentheses)
(and then I think: but do I know how to paint at all?)(and then I tell myself, OMG, you are such a drama queen, just paint) (and then suddenly there's lightning followed by bababoom thunder...) (for real)(do you think it's a sign?)
Hugs-

I think thunder during a bout of procrastination should always be considered a sign :)
It got me back to working, that's for sure. lol;-)
