My creative space

I started my 'big-clean-up-in August-project' by tackling Lucy's room. We have been doing it in bits and pieces because there's so much else going on at the same time. But really, it's an extremely satisfying process - we did it just like they do on tv!!! : took everything out, seperated the thingies and more thingies...in piles and boxes, and then rearrranged the furniture, and added a whole new bunch of much needed shelves! I just need to go through the little thingies now...and sort the paper for recycling. One thing we can be sure of, Lucy doesn't need any new pencils for the new school year!!!

Earlier this morning I had to go to the life-drawing studio and replace a session manager who is on vacation. I worked mostly in my moleskin which also gets my creative juices going...So there you go,two creative spaces today, one in colour, one B&W!

Enjoy more at Kootoyoo- Thank you Kirsty!!!

Oh yay, a clean up!! Looks like my daughter would love your daughter's space, pencils and all.

And *sigh* its been so long since I did some life drawing... on my list.

Lovely space this week :)

We have an abundance of pencils, too, and we don't even have anyone in school at the moment!

The "walking woman" drawing reminds me of the style of a character in an animated Halloween movie I watched as a kid, and I still like those animations for their particular style.

OMG! Look at all those pencils!!! What a fabulous shot. Lucy must feel like it's Christmas! Much better than the Bahamas I'd say! :) I love seeing your sketches in your book too. What is it about that? Somehow it feels more like a secret discovery maybe? Great space Annamaria! Thanks :) K

This is such great inspiration - I forget how much I love doing life drawing - and strangely yoga (just not at the same time) until I see somebody else thoroughly enjoying it. I've been clearing out childrens' rooms too. The things I have found...

oh...you are an inspiration! both on the cleaning blitz and the drawing front...I always seem to get to the point where everything gets pulled out....and then get bored and have things in random boxes for weeks....
