A series of small paintings in the making, some more finished than others- a Christmas (if I make it on time...) painting for my Christmas cards...(in the middle) Next to it, a self-portrait at the age of twelve when my life was lived in a big yellow dress and taking care of stray anything with four legs, or even two legs and wings! And others...- In the evening I curle up next to my husband and crochet while watching 'All creatures great and small', the BBC series based on the James Herrriot books-(as part of our evening -therapy-watching session...) Outside its windy and sormy and rainy....Inside its happy, happy-
Playing along with Kootoyoo- take a look!
Hugs!

Ooooooh, that is a very creative space indeed! So much lovely productivity... I am more than a little jealous.
Everything always seem OK, no matter what the weather is outside, when inside is happy happy.
I love the cosy feeling that comes with storms outside. Your evenings sound lovely.
What a great post. I am so glad to have discovered your blog.
I love the happy, content and reflective feeling inside your space. I totally agree, it doesn't matter what is going on outside as long as I have a crochet hook in one hand and my man by my side.
These are so beautiful, you've captured the moments perfectly, I love your work.
love the inside outside feeling ~elk

i love your creativity - and sounds like the weather will bring you some great outcomes
Lovely paintings - I am, as always, in awe of people who can paint - a true gift. Love the night-time entertainment at your place - wish it was cooler here tonight (hot, hot, hot in Melbourne!).
I am always amazed and centered when the world outside my door is doing strange things but inside my space I am calm - when the kids are sleeping anyway. Peta
your work is brilliant. love the idea of diy cards
everything about this post is so wonderful.
Wow what a super creative space. I love the self protrait in the yellow dress - what great memories and love hand painted Christmas cards. What a lovely scene in your home in the evening. It is heaven on a cold evening to be snuggling indoors with the person you love and something cosy to watch on TV. I remember watching the series a long time ago too.
