Grey-interval days-

Somedays its all grey, empty spaces. There is something 'in-between' this here and that there...about them. They are the quiet intervals. Actually good for the creative soul because they encourage the fine art of daydreaming...and that's where Belinda's new 'tent' paintings come in. They are what one daydreams about on a grey-interval-day.
I have to confess I have never, ever slept in a tent. Not in some remote countryside or in
a sheltered backyard roasting marshmellows. No. Regretably...
But I do have a memory of sleeping under the world's stars as a little girl. A very little girl. My grandparents had a summer house in a waterfront area outside Athens and we would visit , well probably for the whole summer. It was a miniature version of the garden of wonders. For me anyway and for my brothers. Some nights, my parents just took the beds outside and we slept under the stars, in a gentle, salty breeze that blew from the sea side, carrying a fragrance of seaweed mixed with sand and rock and pine cones...
Hugs-

Hope your day is sweet, friend. xoxo
