Friday's drawing and some more-

In the middle of much rain and cold we had a sunny spell on Saturday , so we went out to the beach for a walk and small discoveries.

I realise I missed Friday's post and here is the drawing, no15. I am called to change the focus of my daily drawings. My husband ,for a million and one reasons, that I can't get into here, cannot work in the garden right now so since it is in a state of great disgrace! it's my turn to put my 'green gloves on', which I definitely don't have but in this case I will pretend I do... So I thought well, how fitting, to 'reach out ' to the backyard for the next three weeks. We will see then how the project will move further. It was fitting that this drawing was called 'order begins at home' .

And this is a pencil and ink drawing ,with elements in watercolor. I started it during a life-drawing session, and finished it at home. Since, I turned forty-nine a couple of weeks ago I have been thinking a lot about time. When I was working on this I was thinking:"repeat after me: time is my friend, time is my friend, time is my friend-(... she says...)' Make believe if you have to...
Hugs-

Happy Birthday, Annamaria! Yes, time is interesting ... strangely, when I turned fifty, it did not seem real in some way ... everything that "older" people have always told me - "I feel like I did when I was thirty ... " - rings clear to me. Your new drawings are wonderful - the one with the person in it really intrigues me. Enjoy your time in the garden ~.~

I love the colours and feel to the 'time is my friend' painting/drawing. It is really beautiful...time is such a funny thing. I think we forget that every little moment makes up our life and we let it seep through our hands without treasuring it all the way we should.
(Happy belated birthday! I did a little post on Friday. I love love love your work! Your growth as an artist is incredible. I wish I was as focused. I don't know how you do it.) xo
Have a lovely week!
