This looks like it could become a small series of small paintings.
Looking out my window. There was a bird that came and sat on the
wire as I was painting and I had to quickly include him too.

Yay, a series! I love the perspective you are capturing in these paintings. The bird was kind indeed to sit posing for you, even if only for a few seconds.

Yes, the bird was kind...my very sweet neighbour has four bird feeders in his backyard...we have lots and lots of small birds (and squirels)visiting all the time, really, we are tiny bird city!I love it!:)

I do agree. The perspective in this one is really fabulous. And love the idea of a little window view series.
The composition of this one is so interesting...I'm really enjoying watching these come into being.
