Day 18- Working on a commissioned portrait

Commissioned portrait in process- oils on 8 x 8 inches panel

 

Had a rough week. Most things ended up in the bin. Couldn't show you a thing.

I have been reading too much about other artists which makes me forget how to paint.

Anyway, I have these portraits to finish as well. Switched to oils for these because the

creaminess of oils is just delicious, and I was missing it.

The photo was taken with my phone and it has killed the colors, which are actually quite lovely.
