Sunday lunch at "the little nest"

I have my favorite spot for a weekend lunch... It's very kid friendly, has a large play area in the middle of the shop, has kid friendly food like:'fruit fries and strawberry ketchap"...

it has adult friendly food too, like flowerless chocolate cake ( i think I have shown images from our outings here before)- It's got lovely high chairs to park your babes, or you can just put them on the table while you are eating( I have seen this), its probably the most breastfeeding friendly place I have ever encountered!!, there are days when everywhere you look around you there are moms drinking coffee while their babies are drinking under their shirts...

You know, I just love this place, its just so very cool and yummy too.. And they have an eclectic, relaxed collection of furniture....

The place is appropriately called :'the little nest'...(one for you Dee to try when you visit us next!)
And next door there is this amazing flower shop...and no I am not on commision.. .(but come to think of it I wouldn't mind some of that chocolate cake...)I am just sharing the love- right?

How was your weekend? I hope it was full of wonder and good food!

Great photos. The photo of the close up of the chalks, just makes you want to dive in and start chalking a picture. What a lovely relaxing place. I love all the chairs.

Oh wow! I love this place! How gorgeous. We used to have places like that in New Farm, but now it's becoming such an affluent suburb and all the flavour is draining out... ;) I'm so glad you support this place and the florist shop :) K

That place is so perfect. I looked it up some more on line. It looks like a great spot and tres aptly named. Too cute. You are the first blog I came to this morning. You totally make me smile. xoxo
